When people hear or read about BMW, they immediately think of those very nice cars that gives us great safety level and performance. After all, that’s what BMW is known for in the market.

Probably those same groups of people will be surprised to know that BMW entered the market long time ago (1923 to be exact) by producing motorcycles and not cars. These days, BMW produces constantly new and innovative models or motorcycles. Motorcycle races where BMW’s teams participate are usually won by this them.

In fact, there is a characteristic that BMW teams have that is very impressive and that is the fact that they like to participate in races using their new technologies in motorcycles but these new models are not made exclusively for the races but when they race, they are riding the motorcycles that are available to regular people. That is something you have to consider because that gives you a sign that the BMW motorcycles in the stores, use the same technology that are used to win races.

BMW motorcycles are so popular around the world that you can find BMW motorcycles clubs for every owner, racer or enthusiast. Members in those clubs usually hold events around their “babies” by organizing races, showroom events, etc.

We’ve heard that BMW cars have great level of security, durability and performance and BMW motorcycles are not exception. Even though their racing look makes them seem kind of “delicate” since they need to be light for their races; they really are though and durable as every machine that BMW creates.

Perhaps the only negative aspect of BMW motorcycles is their prices. These motorcycles are priced higher than the competition, however, people have learned to understand that BMW motorcycles are worth the extra investment because they get a better machine overall.
