Roketa Scooters

Roketa scooters are some of the Chinese small motorcycles that have received a wave of complaints because of the poor technical performance and their doubtful quality. Did you know for instance that half the number of the world’s scooters are manufactured in China? The low price is what makes Roketa scooters a better alternative to Japanese, American or European products. On an online search for Roketa scooters you’ll be surprised to see how many negative comments you’ll come across. However, not everyone has had the bad luck of making an unhappy purchase.

Fragile and defective parts are the most frequent complaints for Roketa scooters, not to mention that the products have a faulty customer service too. Sometimes it takes several attempts to even start the scooter and keep it running, which could be another of the issues to face with such a product. Oil leaks, thin speed cables and component failure are other problems reported by Roketa scooters users. Instead of sending the product back for repairs, many people prefer paying some extra dollars for servicing. However, costs can be around some hundred dollars for special technical interventions, and you may not want to invest all that money into a poor quality vehicle.

Distributors are also to blame for the negative reputation that Roketa scooters seem to have created. As a buyer it is often difficult to contact the Chinese manufacturer directly, particularly when you live on the other side of the globe, and the company you’ll turn to is the dealer or the provider. If the supplier does not offer a viable service in which the shipment and the spare parts replacement is covered by the producer, it is better not to buy Roketa scooters under the circumstances. It won’t take long however before the sales for such products will decrease because of the negative publicity they seem to constantly receive on the Internet.

All in all, Roketa scooters are cheap and small, apparently corresponding to all the great advantages of 50cc two-wheel vehicles. Yet, a faulty technical execution has led to the appearance of lots of problems when in usage. Consequently, in recent years the number of complaints posted online has doubled if not tripled, and this is not the total number of the users disappointed by Roketa scooters. However, before something happens in a positive direction, we have to keep an eye open on the kind of Roketa scooters we intend to buy.

Piaggio Scooters

Largely produced in Italy, by the Piaggio Company, Piaggio scooters have extended beyond the European tradition, being now manufactured in other parts of the world too. Vespa was the first of the Piaggio scooters to write the history of motorcycles and alternative means of transportation, after World War II. In Europe, Piaggio is the largest scooter manufacturer, while on the world market, comes fourth in the top of the best sold brands. The fuel efficiency, the stylish look and the technological superiority make the biggest advantages of Piaggio scooters.

There is a huge number of 600,000 Piaggio scooters produced and sold every year, and sales are expected to grow for small vehicles as compared to the downfall of the international market demand for cars. Given the deep economical crisis that affects countries worldwide, people are more and more interested in low-consume vehicles, to cope with the money shortage. Plus, it is definitely easier to cope with the heavy traffic in the urban jungle when you ride a two-wheel vehicle that is both sleek and rapid. Other than these, the costs on insurance, registration and maintenance are a lot lower for Piaggio scooters and other small motorcycles than for cars.

The interested buyer can choose from a very wide range of Piaggio scooters, as the models vary by price, design, features and power. There are lots of models in all the cc categories, with two or four stroke engines, with or without a cooling device, with or without an MP3 and so on. Even this cooling feature can differ, since some Piaggio scooters like NRG Power PureJet is water-cooled, while Zip 2000, Zip sp ‘98, Zip sp h2o and several others use some other type of liquid. Besides the gas powered vehicles, you can also purchase hybrid Piaggio scooters that in addition to the regular engine include an electric motor as well.

The possibility of saving even more money on gas has increased the popularity of the hybrid Piaggio scooters that marked a new stage of evolution in the development of vehicles. An estimate of gas consume is 1.67 liters per 100km which is incredible if we think of the consume required by a car. Although fuel economy gets most of the credit, performance is not neglected in the hybrid design, as the semi-electrical vehicles don’t lack power. Thus, a hybrid scooter can reach 100 km/h in acceleration within no more than five seconds.
